WHAT IS ALL ON 6 TREATMENT?

ALL ON 6 is a surgical prosthetic procedure for the implementation of a dental bridge on only 6 implants. It allows for patients to enter our premises in the morning without any teeth at all and after insertion of a series of dental implants leave with a completely fixed temporary dental bridge in the afternoon.

It is a variant similar to the All on 4 technique, but instead of installing 4 implants, six implants are placed in the areas with adequate bone thickness. It is designed for the use of only 6 implants that are ready for simultaneous placement and implementation of a dental bridge.

The difference compared to the All on 4 procedure is that 2 additional dental implants can be placed in the sinus area if there is enough bone. If not, All on 4 procedure is recommended or you can choose to go through 2 sinus lift procedures which are lengthy and rather fairly complicated.

All on 6 implant placement is an ideal solution for patients who wear mobile dentures and who have problems with gum irritation, difficulty chewing food and with speech. This method restores patients’ self-confidence because patients no longer have difficulty chewing and speaking. The aesthetic results of the All on 6 or All on 4 process are top notch because the dental bridge perfectly imitates natural teeth – aesthetically and functionally. DURATION OF ALL ON 6 PROCEDURE AT DENTAL CROATIA

The process is performed in one operation. On the same day, we can make a temporary dental bridge on implants, which is usually completed within 24 hours. We’ll literary put a smile back on your face within a day.

After 3 to 6 months dental imprint is taken for a permanent bridge and in the final stage a temporary bridge is replaced with permanent one. Our doctor will make sure your upper and lower teeth fit together perfectly.

Sometimes, in addition to All on 6, it is necessary to perform additional bone replacement procedures in the posterior region of the upper jaw. In this case, procedures are performed to raise the bottom of the maxillary sinus – sinus lift, with age there is a decrease in bone mass in the posterior parts of the upper jaw. By lifting the sinus mucosa and adding artificial bone, we get enough volume to accept dental implants. This procedure is not mandatory but is only an option that is necessary for patients who lack bones. An alternative to this procedure is the All on 4 surgical prosthetic procedure.
